wrapping up my probably too hard puzzle

It was nice to take a break over the past few weeks, but I’m ready to get back to writing posts about leadership…soon. But first, I need to wrap up the puzzle buried in my posts in 2024.

As pointed out in the post linked above, thirty-ish posts of mine in a row included two numbers at the end of the post.

The Fence Post (or Rail Fence)

There’s a type of transposition encryption called railfence encryption. Railfence uses a zigzag pattern that both transposes the letters offsets them into rows. My notes said rf 5:1 - which meant I encrypted a string using five rows and an offset of one letter (lots of better explanations on the internet.

Easier solution is to pick your favorite online decryption (like this one), plug in the string, and the decryption and let it do the magic.
