I think personality tests are, for the general case, bunk: See _The Personality Brokers_ as one example (her prior article at https://digg.com/2015/myers-briggs-secret-history is what I send to everyone who asks me to take a personality test). And most of them quickly become an easy way to cement sexist and racist ideas. The road from "everyone has a type" to "you can tell a story where this kind of person almost always has this type so we shouldn't offer this group of people a higher-paying job" isn't a long one.

I'll check out the book (literally; I'll get it from the library), but I am suspicious of anyone who claims to distill all human personality into some finite number of types (here, 6). And more so if they have a consulting program around assessing that distillation.
