Oh, thanks for the reminder of Designing Your Life! It's slipped back in my to-read list & I'd forgotten it. Apparently, they have a Designing Your Work Life too. You also inspired me to take a look at how much work is in my ACM buckets. I haven't correlated yet, but my gut tells me the days I feel more like it's time to look for a new job correspond to the heavy amounts of mundane work. Will be interesting ti see if that holds when I actually check...
I’m going to use this ACM concept. I am some times struggled to but at good word to the level of effort needed. Especially to the mundane / bed&butter work.
Are you aware of the theory of Zone of proximal development, it seems related.
